I have an AC at my house that has the model number 593ANX024000AAAA on the nameplate. The nameplate shows Carrier as the manufacturer, but it is labeled Bryant elsewhere.
I can't find anything on the web searching for this model number, except for a replacement fan that includes model 593ANX as one of the model it can be used on.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to go to find more info on this model? Year manufactured? Capacity? Compressor type.? SEER?

Houston is right about it being a 2 ton unit, but is a 10.0 SEER. Your unit dates back to the early 90's and probably has a Bristol or Tecumseh recip compressor in it. As suggested, look at the serial number, first four digits will give you the week manufactured and the year. Finding more info for that old of a unit will be difficult, but try contacting your local Bryant representative, they may have something in their archives yet!
