Replacing Forced Air Oil Furnace and AC compressor.....Is it better to use a flex system where the outside unit will heat the house using electricity until the temperature outside drops, requiring the oil furnace to come on?
Right now, my oil does all my heating.

This will depend on a few things. First, how well insulated is your home? Second, are the windows efficient? And third, you should understand that heat-pumps will make a home feel a bit drafty to someone not used to their cooler heat, especially when compared to the high btu content of oil heat.
