Heat pump basics for those who are interested. I know its Canada and cold as can be in Manitoba but we do have some moderate areas in BC and Ontario where they work well.
I am sure there are other good brands besides Lennox.

I have not seen one in years (too cold where I am) but I believe they can use either a orifice or a TX valve and they have 2. One inside and one outside. Google: "air to air heat pump and/or heat pump" and you can find lots more info.
