I need help changing my old thermostat which is a TA2000
It does not say on it which brand it is other than TA2000
This is how the lettering reads for the wiring
W W
LB2OXRYGE3
This is the color wires I have
white
orange
blue
red
yellow
green
black
I bought a Hunter Set & Save Programmable Thermostat. Model #44260
This is the lettering I have on the Hunter
G RC RH Y/O W/B Y1
Can anyone tell me which color wire goes where?

Do you have a furnace or heat pump?

Usually if it was installed correctly at the unit it would be:
red wire to rh terminal
yellow wire to y terminal
green wire to g terminal
orange wire to o/b termial (for heat pumps)
white wire to w1 termianl (for furnace)
I'm assuming that the new t-stat is battery powered since you didn't list a C terminal. other two wires usually not used on residentual units, cut back and cap.
