I have trane model twv025 vertical air handler and trane xe1000 outside unit. I have to replace the thermostat with out knowing how the existing one was wired. I have 8 wires and no idea what goes where. Does any one know what the funtions are on the terminals. The white is on W1 and capped to the the black that goes to the X2 wire at the outside unit. Yellow goes straight to outside unit as well as brown and orange. Red is on R Green on G and Blue on B at the air handler.

Thank YOU

Usual wire termination:
Red = R or 24v ( outdoor unit, 24v hot )
Brown = C or 24c ( outdoor unit, 24v common )
Yellow = Y or Y1 ( outdoor unit, cooling )
Orange = O or RVR ( outdoor unit, reversing valve )
White = W1 ( indoor unit, ele. heat )
Green = G ( indoor unit, fan )
Black = X2 ( indoor unit, em. heat )
Not quite certain why you have B terminal going to AHU. T-Stat's have B and O, you use one of them and the wire energizes the reversing valve at the outdoor unit.
