Heat pump/AC systems using Honeywell (Carrier) thermostats (T874R1384 HH07AQ170 with Q674L 1454 HH93AZ197 base). Replacing with Robertshaw 9620 series programmables.
Honeywell terminal/wire color:
O/orange W2/jumpered to E C/blue Y/yellow E/White G/green R/red
Robertshaw 9620 terminals
C, L, R, Y2, Y1, E, G, W2, O, B

C = blue R = red Y1 = yellow W2 & E = white G = green O = orange

Huston204, thank you but I have already tried this with no results. I jumpered w2 & E.
When i install the new Robertshaw 9620 the fan switch works in the "on" position, but when I switch to cool the unit tries to start then nothing happens. I know the thermostat works, I will take the panel off the equipment to check the wiring. Any tips on what to check for would be appreciated.

Does the indoor fan run with cooling demand?

Does the contactor pull in with demand? Is it getting 240VAC to L1 to L2? Is it getting 24VAC to the coil?
If it does pull in, is the capacitor swollen?
