I was looking at our Thermostat, and noticed a resistor inside was broken, now i know little to nothing about most of this stuff, but i do have some basic electrician skills, The resistor is located between T and C and seems to connect the two, now T is empty and C is wired up, The resistor is a 560 OhM with 5% Tolerance, but i was wanting to know, A. Does it even need to be replaced, and if so B. What is the wattage i would need for the new resistor. Dunno if its needed but its an old Mercury Thermostat.
