I have a five year old York Diamond 80 and the blower does not run when the thermostat is in the "on" or "auto" position. Every thing else appears to work fine (i.e.compressor, power vent, etc.) and I can manually spin the squirrel cage. A tech came out and diagnosed the problem as a bad fan relay and wants to charge me $538 to install a new control board. I found the model online for $100. Can anyone tell me if this diagnosis and solution sound correct? What about the price?
Thanks
