I recently constructed a building that has a 28 foot span, 12/12 pitch attic truss. I plan on building out the attic area for a small apartment. As is typical with an attic truss, there are 4 foot knee walls on the sides. The space is 16 x 36 (open area). Does anyone have any recommendations as to which way I should go for heating and cooling? I could use a small wall furnace and a window air conditioner although would prefer not to.
