I have an old boiler (Lennox-Honeywell) that runs on fuel oil. I'm trying to get it going for the first time this year but when I push the reset button it won't stay lit. The flame comes on for a couple of seconds before extinguishing itself and leaving behind a plume of smoke. It repeats this several times over the next 10-15 seconds before the reset button pops back up. Any suggestions?

DON'T touch the reset button any more and call a professional for service on the boiler!
