I tried to turn on the heater for the first time this season but it didnt heat. I compared the broken one to the basement furnace and noticed the ingnitor in the attic unit wasnt glowing. I just replaced it but it still doesnt glow. I can hear a click and the fan blows but its cold air as it never lights. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. While i try troublshooting is it possible to try lighting it manually? how?

Should be getting 120 volts to the igniter. If not, that is your problem. Don't try light it manually or you will blow your eyebrows off and get a permanent tan.
