My furnace and Oslon Duomatic is having an intermittent problem. the furnace is a gas operated electronic pilotless ignition model. The unit goes through the purge ignite cycle and the burners ignite but immediately go off. there is no pilot sensor rod and the ignitor is approx 8 inches into the burner tubes any and all help/opinions would be appreciated

ALL furnaces have a flame sensor to prove the burner is on/prevent explosions. I have worked on Olsens. It may be part of the pilot assembly/burner. Take some pics of the burner area and post it at photobucket or imageshack.us so we can see which one it is. Copy and paste the IMG link or pic link here. Olsens are obselete as they went bankrupt and some parts are obselete. Post the model # also.

If the HSI looks white change it. Some of the older equipment(Rheem,Ruud,Coleman, etc.) used the ignitor as flame sensor.
