I have a Lennox G24M Furnace that has given me problems since the warrenty expired. I have had the Flame Sensor replaced twice in the past four years (the furnace is exactly 10 years old).
My problem is that furnace won't fire up. The igniter comes on and glows red, but there is no flame to the gas and the furnace shuts down. Whats my fix?

Call a reputable experienced Lennox tech. You may need a new circuit board or have a problem with the gas valve. The replacement board is a retrofit and not a DIY project. Has different wiring harnesses etc.

Thank you, Yuri...it's the circuit board. I'm really angry that it will cost so much to fix...the furnace is only 10 years old. It was installed to replace a 56 year old furnace that was running fine, but made a lot of noise. I've already paid out close to $400 to have the flame sensor replaced twice, now this. I won't recommend Lennox to anyone.

10 yrs is about average for any circuit board. They are subject to a lot of vibration, dust, static etc. Probably wasn't the flame sensor anyway. They can be cleaned.
