I have a Goodman -- Model GMP 050-3 furnace & i feel that the blower fan runs too fast. is there a way to reduce the blower fan speed? Thanks for the ingo!

thinking is not enough to determine if the fan is running is to high involves a cfm test consisting of delta t and a cfm calculation which I wont discuss on here. There may be issues with duct design which could cause noice as well. Not to be a jerk but if your concern is of importance to you call a contractor, its for your benefit, altering cfm has a direct effect to temp drop across evap coil, temp rise thru heat exhchanger... Grant it sometimes you can get away with it and you may be right but nothing beats a cfm test if the contractor doesnt know what your talking about hang up and call someone who does, every tech should know it hell its in the back of a major supply house book.
