Help please! going from a DICO with
O orange
G Green
Y yellow
R red
E (bridged to W2) white
C, brown and black not connected

Honeywell states W O/B as one connection..no place for a W2 or E
should I leave one (either the orange or white unconnected)?

The Honeywell RTH6300 will not support your multistage heat pump. The RTH7400 and RTH7500, with autochangeover, will.

On the RTH7400...
O/B = orange
G = green
Y = yellow
Rc & R = red (use provided jumper)
Aux & E = white (use a jumper wire)
C = brown

You must also configure it to match your system.
Set option 170 to 7.
option 190 = 0
240 = 9 (for electric Aux heat).
