Swapped out my old Honeywell round stat for a Honeywell programmable RTH7500D back in the spring. Since then I have had constant fan on and cannot shut it off. I have checked wiring and programming setup on the stat. This stat does not give option for fan off. Only has Auto and On. I am simply Green on Green from stat to board on heat pump. Used to shut off on the old round. I have a 4 wire connection wired with colors GYRB. From the board to the stat, it is G on G, Y on Y, R on R and O on B. Anyone tell me what I need to do next? I thought about a toggle on the G wire as a macgiver fix for now...I just want to control the blower. What can I do to get my blower under control?

You stated, "Green on Green from stat to to board on heat pump."
Your green wire should be connected to the green wire in the air handler in your house. If this is true turn power off to the air handler and in the air handler find the green wire from the stat and tape off, turn power back on and if the fan comes on you have a stuck fan relay or bad control board in the air handler. If it don't come on turn the power off, disconnect the red and green wires from thr stat and check if their is continuity between the red and green wire, if you don't have continuity between the red and green wires you have a bad stat, if you have it programmed correctly

One step at a time
