When I turn the furnace on with thermostat on heat and auto, the inducer motor comes on and immediately after the squirrel cage (main blower) comes on as well. It does not go through the normal lighting cycle, the igniter never comes on, gas valve doesn't open, etc.
The board is a White Rodgers 50A50-241 and the LED stays on continuously which means "Replace Control". Does this mean to replace the control board? I tried jumping the limit switch and all the rollout switches but still the same problem. Any advice?

turned out to be the control board... lesson learned, if it says replace control, then go ahead and replace control... thanks for the outstanding link to the worthless websites @$$wipe
