Once my furnace turns on it will not shut off. So I replaced the thermostat with a new one, I got a digital programmable one. Hooked it up it would turn on, get to the desired temperture and turn off, but the blower would kick on for about 2 mins then turn off and repeat the cycle about every 10 mins. So I had a tech come out and look at it, he replaced the reset switch on it. It did not fix the issue. The guys said to get standard thermostat and it should fix the problem. I did that and now it won't shut off unless I flip the switch. What could cause this? Is the digital one suppose to turn the blower on every so often?
