I have a RUUD Silhouette II gas furnace with electric ignition intermittent pilot. We have not used the furnace since last winter since it was a mild summer and we left the AC off. When I turned up the thermostat, nothing happened. Here is what I did to troubleshoot:
1) followed the instructions to re-ignite the furnace. No response--no fan, no spark, nothing... 2) jumped the thermostat to make sure it was functioning properly--the furnace did not ignite 3) checked the LED lights on the integrated circuit ignition control system. They are all off even when the power is on. And I can hear the power supply when I turn the furnace power switch on.
I there anything else I can try before I call out a technician?
Thanks for your help!

Check the board in the furnace for a fuse that looks like an automovtive fuse. Sounds like it may be blown.
If in doubt call a pro !
