I have purchased a Honeywell RTH7000 thermostat
the old thermostat is a Janitrol HPT 18-60
it has 7 wires
Y=yellow
G=green
R=Red
O=#FFFAF0
W2= white
E= tan
C= blue
the new thermostat has

where does the colored wires go in the new thermostat?

C = blue
G = green
Rc & R = red
Y = yellow
Aux = white
E = brown
O/B = orange

You must also configure your new stat.
option 170 = 7
190 = 0

thank you for the reply. I had everything correct almost. I just had to move the orange color wire, I had put it in the O/B slot.
