I recently installed a 44155C thermostat, and I switched it over to heat (since it just got cold). However, now it appears that nothing is working. I don't know anything about my HVAC except that it's a Rheem. House is fairly new and the HVAC hasn't been changed since 2006... I suspect that something is miswired to the thermostat. Any help would be appreciated.

We will need to know a couple of details before we can answer:

1. what is your source of heat?
a. electric heat
b. heatpump
c. fossil fuel (gas or oil)

2 what brand and model thermostat did you install?

3. can you get the indoor fan to run when you switch the fan switch from "auto" to "on"?

Let us know and we can get a better picture of the problem.
