Hello, Please check the wiring in my Heat Pump... Its a Trane/Am Standard TWE031E air handler..outside is Heritage 12 2A6H2024A1000A. I had problems since it was installed 4 years ago. Many experts came and checked or changed wiring but all seemed rather unsure of themselves. The original installer was completely confused and disconnected the aux heat in the air handler and may have done damage elsewhere. American Standard was a horror to work with (cuctomer support, main office). Energy bills have been much higher then old unit that was a 10 seer. Aux heat goes on alot. Here's how it is wired:

At air handler-
(W1) brown and white wire (I wonder if brown is ok here) (G) green (R) red (Y) yellow (B) black, orange is connected to orange of outside unit with wire nut, (W2, W3, O, YLO, T, BK) are left unconnected

thermostat
(C) black (R) red (Y1) yellow (E) brown (G) green (W2) white (O) orange

Please check and be absolutely sure..HELPPPPP

air handler is a variable speed and is recommended to be used with the outside unit and gets a 13 seer rating. Unit is 2 ton.

also..which is aux heat unit component (in the air handler) and wire so if I decide to disconnect it I can.

Thanks for your help, Bob

Thanks Bob
