Can a Honeywell HE360 humidifier and humistat be attached directly to a gas furnace?

I have two yellow wires from the humidifier and 2 black wires from the humidistat and need know how to wire to the furnace. I would like the HE360 to turn on when the furnace blower turns on.

You can energize the 24VAC coil of a relay closing a set of normally open contacts using the Hum terminal and C. (If furnace has a Hum terminal)

If you do not have an H terminal, I recommend a current sensing relay. I do not like sail switches.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The furnace circuit board has 5 screw connectors (G, W, C, Y, R) labeled 'thermostat'. Tab style connectors have wires that go to the furrnace internals and a Honeywell S8610u (ignitor?). I did not notice a connector labeled 'HUM'.

Sounds like the curent sensing relay is how I should proceed. Where would the relay be connected?

Your blower common wire runs through it as shown in the diagram.
