heat pump makes weird noise after it shuts off. only in heat mode. doesnt appear to be compressor or fan

what type of noise like a swooshing noise? Is it a Rheem or Rudd? If so it could be the reversing valve de energizing which is normal. If not any of that what exactly is the noise more detail please your post was vauge.

could be a scroll compressor shutting down,
should like a knocking noise
could be the refrigerant equalizing in the system (like a circulation sound
