I have this wiring on my old Q674F subbase:
Red to R
Orange to O
Yellow to Y
Green to G
White to W2
Brown to E
Blue to X
Black to S
I just bought a RTH8500 programmable thermostat to replace the old one.. Trying to figure out how to re-connect the new one:
OLD to NEW
R to R
O to O/B
Y to Y
G to G
W2 to AUX
E to E
Not sure...
X to tape it off
S to ...

x-c this is a common connection s should be for communications cap off and then program your stat fyi post info about system type in the future make etc. E and W2 are for aux heat make sure it all works properly.

The heat pump is IKCO (also branded KenMore on the outside unit) and the electric furnace is a Thermo Radiant (montreal, canada).
