i have a whiterogers 36e36-304 it has three double spade terminals M1 C2 P3 to replace a five wire valve carrier ef32cb198 need help wiring or was i mislead when they said this was the right unit

As I recall the Carrier valve has a jumper wire.
Didn't you get some literature with it?

Post the furnace product number.

Bryant valve has five terminals, with the jump being ground(neutral) between a redundant pilot and main. The pilot is pulled in and then held in when the pilot assembly switch switches to start the main. Could be wrong but if I could have gotten by with three wire I would have switched years and years ago, you have to have a pilot that stays in when you drop pilot voltage.

Their blower motors are 3 times the price of a universal too.
I still prefer OEM parts.
