i have a goodman furnace and the blower constantly runs..we have a 4 blink light which means an open limit. we have changed the pressure switch and the limit switch..we also put a new board in it. the board wasnt bad so we put the old back in. since we have changed the limit switch the light is on constantly which i think means its good(not sure). we turn the thermostat to off and hold in the safety switch and the blower still runs. what do i do?

if the filters were plugged solid you may have a high limit switch stuck open. It is the rectangle device in the middle of the furnace with two red wires coming off of it. If the other suggestion does not work use the back end of a non conductive object and tap the center of the switch a few times while the unit is running. The best thing to do is check for voltage across the switch. If you have 24vac the switch is open if you have 0vac it is not the limit.

Remove the G wire from the thermostat at the board. Try it again. If the fan is stopped then you have a short in the tstat wiring or a bad tstat.
