My RUUD furnace is approximately 12 years old and the heat cuts out prematurely. It is set to come on every morning at 70, however, never seems to make it past 60. It will start up in the morning, but will cut out after about 5 minutes and never come back on. Last year we had problems and a contractor came in and changed the ignitor module (no thermocoupler). It was not that cold last winter so we never had the heat that high anyways. Now it is starting to get pretty cold and our house does not heat to our desired temperature. Any suggestions??

Depending on the type of flame sensor it uses I would suggest cleaning it.
