I'm having a problem with the Carrier 5kw system in my house. It is blowing room temp air out of the ducts, and the water drainage lines in the garage seem to be plugged. when the excess water is rempved out of the PVC lines, the system cools, but only for a hour or so, until the water level rises again at the T-junction where the air handler is in the garage. There is also a PVC drain coming out of the house in the back, where the compressor/evaporator is located. I think that this drainage line runs into the concrete pad on which the house is built. Maybe a lizard got in there and plugged it up? How do I go about trying to clear the drainage line. I have already cleaned the filter, and verified all the breakers are on. I am really unfamiliar with AC systems, and would like anyone's help with this, so I can have more tham an hour of cold air at a time. Thanks. Here are pics of the water problem in the garage:

Wish I could help but this sounds more like a plumbing problem than a refrigeration issue.

Xenos.

The best way to escape a problem is to solve it.
