I recently replaced a mechanical thermostat on my mult-stage heat pump. After getting all the wiring and programing finished. I turned it on and the LCD gave me a ERROR 2 message.

That is an internal error, Verify the wiring then try resetting the thermostat.

I found initially did have the wiring incorrect. I fixed the wiring problem, reset the thermostat, reinstalled the face to the wiring plate, re-programmed the thermostat, and turned it back on. ERROR 2 message flashed on again. repeat everything not needing wiring change.....Error 2

You may have blown it up, if reseting it dosent work, I would return it.

P.S. jump R to G does the fan start?

If not there is no power.
