I recently had a new trane XL 19i installed.the problem if it is one is when the unit starts up theres a gurgling or swishing noise for a few minutes then it quits.I called the service tech at the company that installed it and he said it was unit charging up.does that sound right .by the way the unit works great except for the startup intake noise.

It sounds like it's the refrigerant flowing through the lines then after the system stabilizes it quiets down. That sound is normal.
