I will try to keep this one short but hopefully include enough info for some help. We just bought this condo and have a problem with water leaking out of the evap unit and finding it's way down the vents to the lower floor (one vent specifically). The first HVAC guy came out, blew out the drain pipe (primary) and said that it was running uphill and never installed properly (orig install 1991). Home warranty doesn't cover this type of repair, but as a courtesy he fixed the drain to run downhill. Same problem, now he says the drain pan is probably rusted out and that it will cost $650 to replace. The model is a RHEEM RAFD-025JAS, that is what is says on the unit outside, can't seem to find makings on the evap. My questions are: Can I replace the drain pan myself? What other things should I rule out/look for while I have it apart? Does anyone sell/supply service manuals for the consumer? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Your entire coil is shot. Replace it with something more durable than a Rheem.

What does that entail, what product should I replace it with?
