Is it possible lubricate a carrier weathermaker 92? blower motor/fan? Unit is three years old. Two nights ago it started going 'grrrr'. The blower tries to turn, does so slowly buy won't get up to speed and then stops. Manual says the motor itself doesn't need lube. Then it says lubricate the fan, but not how. Can I lube the fan? It's getting hot.
Thanks, Peter

If it is an original motor then there is no lube ports they are permanently sealed bearing motors (factory installed).

Thanks. I took it apart and lubed it anyway. It ran for two hours then stopped. It would spin freely without electricity, but with much difficulty under power. Glad it's cool outside. I think I need a new motor.
