Is GE made by TRANE or TRANE made by GE ?????
I noticed in another message title someone had a Trane Weathertron with almost the same model # on it as my GE Weathertron.
Anyone care to offer some insight ??

Yes Trane bought GE's HVAC line back in the early 80's. Also remember, American Standard Owns Trane and therefore other than some cosmetic differences and different warrantys, the same parts are inside both.
