My Rheem unit is about 4 years old. It started leaking out the PVC pipe. Water was backing up and coming out an overflow or air hole. Why would this occur?
Thanks in advance.
James

I am not an hvac mechanic, but I would check for a plugged drain that would handle defrost/condensation water maybe??? Just something to think about while you wait for an HVAC Mechanic to reply. Good Luck James!!!

This problem is occurring because you probably went with the low bid, C'mon, admit it, ever heard the expression "you get what you paid for? We are total hvac professionals on this site. Look us up in your local yellow pages. In the meantime, start finding some buckets and the name of a good drywaller, you'll need both.
