I have an Amana GUX-x Furnace with a White Rogers 3e22 valve and a White Rogers 50A50-288 controller
While in my basement I noticed that the furnace tries to start then shuts down in some cases almost immediately and in other cases after several minutes.I never saw it actually run long enough to deliver any heat
When I looked at the controller I get one blink of the light which would indicates that there is a lockout
I shut off the power, external gas, and the valve, per the directions but whew I put them all bsck on I get the same effect
I do see the ignitors glow and it appears there is a flame. Unfortunately because this unit is 94% efficient I can't feel anything
I'd appreciate any suggestions before I call someone in to look at it. Hopefully there is a flame sensot or such that I might change myself

There is a flame sensor and it would be the first place i would look. It is a metal rod that is placed in front of the flame. In the burner box left side should have 1 wire atached to it. Lightly sand it and then retry. And im sure u have change your filter.
