Can anyone help me find the CFM of my Payne furnace? I have called Payne and the local service contractor that they gave me. Here is the Model and Serial numbers.

Model = PG8UAA048135
Serial = 3499A09027

That unit has what Carrier refers to as their 4 ton blower (1600 CFM) . However the actual Cfm has more to due with the duct work then the furnace.

Here's a guess based on this PG8UAA manual http://www.gogeisel.com/geiselonline/support/Payne/PG8U_Gas_Furnace.pdf .
I'm guessing you have a 48000BTU furnace. If that's correct, and you have a 3 speed blower motor, I'd venture to guess the high speed is 1600 cfm, enough for a 4 ton coil. Assuming the rpm of the motor for each speed is 1075, 925, and 775, you can see the approximate cfm would be 1600, 1380 and 1150 cfm respectively.
