i have a york package heat pump with emergancy heat and a york thermostat, changing to a robert shaw 9620 programable thermostat. the conversion table is not very clear. im going from: w=white,b=black,g=green,r=red,x=brown,y=yellow,o=#FFFAF0
most colors are clear to cross over(w=w2,g=g,o=o,y=y1,r=r) the problem i have is the black and brown wires, one should be common and the other for reversing valve but, i dont know witch one or if the others are correct either. please help.

White -Heat Black-Common Green-Fan Red-Voltage Brown-x emergency heat Yellow-cooling Orange-reversing valve
Now, remember I am (NOT) There so this would only be an educated guess. If you smoke it , don't blame me.... Call for a serviceman to check it cheaper in the long run.
