I have a Trane XE 70 gas furnace and am looking to add a humidifier to it. Just wondering if there's any difference in quality between a Carrier and an Aprilaire? Thanks for any advice.

Most of the humidifier's are made by Aprilaire and sold under different names.

If you want a good try Skuttle brand steam type.

No significant difference, they're both good.
