A loud whirling/buzzing sound is coming from the furnace. The sound comes on for about 10-15 secs and then goes away. The furnace seems to be working fine except for the noise. Please help.

First go to the furnace and see if you can pinpoint the noise. Is it a main blower, combustion blower(If applicable), control noise(transformer loose on mounting plate) or duct noise. Pinpopint the exact location, and go from there! Hope this helps!!
