I live in an older home and I need to replace the air filter on the furnace unit. The only problem is... I can't find the old air filter. Can you tell me where it is? The unit is a Rheem Criterion.

you might need to take both doors off the front of the unit,make sure power is off and get down on all fours and look in the bottom of the unit by the big fan and you might find it,Also some installs might have a filter access cut into the sheetmetal look for a access door cut into the sheetmetal return air drop.If you only have one return air vent it might be in the vent in the living space.
