Turned on the Heat for the first time this season and the house heated up just fine. I went outside to take out the garbage and suddenly I heard the AC unit kick on !!! I went inside the house and felt cold air blowing into the room. Thermostat was set on "Heat" and Fan was set on "Auto". I changed the thermostat over the summer because my wife wanted one that looked nicer. Maybe I screwed up the install of the new thermostat ? I tried to follow the instructions, but was a little confused about the jumper wire. Any ideas ?
