I have a Lennox G40UH-36A-070-02 AC/GAS-HEATING unit in my attic. Heater is not igniting after several attempts. Unit uses a Honeywell VR8205M-2476 switch. Receiving error code that says: Open Roll Out Switch Circuit. I have followed the instructions on side of unit, regarding restarting and still no luck. Gas is turned on properly, however I have not smelled any gas at all while going through restart cycles.
Last year I incountered the same problem and same error code, however I do not remember how the service technician fixed it. Any ideas on what to check next?

If the roll-out switch is open, then you will not get any gas coming through. You have to reset the roll out switch. I believe its a manual reset switch(little button on top of the switch that you push in). Read the schematics for where they are located.Make sure the power is off to the furnace first!!!!
