We have a Trane Thermostat that is numbered not labled and I have to put in a Honeywell thermostat. Example of problem

1 - Red wire
2 - White wire
3 - Green wire
4 - Yellow wire

6 - Blue
7 - Orange

6 an 7 are for Emergancy Heat Light

on Honeywell
W Heating Realy
G Fan Realy
R Power
Rc jumpered to R
Y Cooling Contactor

Tried Hucking up Red to R, White to W, Green to G, and Yellow to Y but did not work. I need help with this no documentation on Trane thermostat

I think you have the wrong T-stat. A honeywell heatpump T-Stat number will have "11" in the model.

The trane stat IS a heat pump stat, the Honeywell is not. I suggest this stat.........
