I have a Trane XL90 hot surface ignition control so we replaced that the led won't display anything and the pilot won't light. The unit fires up but the flames don't spark. The old part was the 50E47-60 and we replaced it with a 50E47-843. Any ideas? We did clean the filters as well

Maybe im being to techical but u said that u were told that u had a bad HSI and replace the HSI control module. That is 2 different things. HSI is about $20 and is easy to replace, the control module is $100+ and is not easy to change(relative to HSI). Did u miss speek or did u replace the wrong part?
