Hopefully someone can help me.. My central air conditioner to my mobile home has the fan running on the unit but there is no air coming out the vents. i just had the capacitor replaced and it worked for one day and then stopeed. I live in florida where its 99 degrees so you can only imagine how hot it is in a trailer. Please help me as to what to look for to at least get it to work for summer. Thanks1

Some more things to check, make sure there are no kinks in the ductwork going to or from the outdoor unit. Again, check the filter or filters. Your system probably has 2 fans, one in the air handler (inside the home) and one fan on the outdoor unit. Are they both running? Are you getting any airflow at the registers? Take a length of toilet tissue and place it ofer the floor vents, is it held in place or does it blow off the vent?
Turn your cooling thermostat to a cooler temperature than normal (say 60 degrees). You may have a small electrical box mounted outside near the cooling unit, if it has a switch on the side; turn it to the off position. The outdoor fan should stop but the indoor fan should remain blowing. Let the rom air blower continue to blow this way for three or four hours. Check with the tissue again to see if the air movement is the same or improved. If it is the same, contact a cooling technician. If it has improved, still contact the technician but tell them what you did and discovered.

Well i checked the ducts and they seem to be in tact. I tried switching the thermostat to on from auto and its still didnt do anything. no air blows no matter what i switch it too.. however when i turn the unit to on the fan is on and running but no air blows out. I looked high and low and was unable to find the filters or anythign of the sort. the only thing that is in my mobile home related to the air conditioner is the thermostat, and circuit breakers, and vents.. thats all. it is a really old mobile ohme i think from the 80's or so. I have not seen an inside unit like i have heard/seen others tell me to look. So i have no idea what to do.. or where to look.. Please help!

If you dont even know where the filter is... that`s your problem!!!
Its Iced up. Call the guy that changed your capacitor. He should have atleast glanced at your filter.
Good Luck.

You need to call a friend who is mechanically inclined. There are many possibilities and without knowing your specific furnace/coil, it's almost impossible to give you good advice.

If the fan that you're referring to "my mobile home has the fan running on the unit " is the indoor fan, it's possible the indoor coil has iced over and is blocking air flow. I know it's hot but turn off the AC since it's not doing any good. Set the indoor fab to ON at the thermostat. If the coil was frozen, you should feel air in a few hours, or less. Then I suspect you may need refrigerant added to your system. I assume the indooe filter is squeeky clean and changed regularly.
