I have a 5 ton 286 series heat pump with a FV006 series air handler. My problem is the unit runs fine and then all of the sudden it stops. You then have to reset the breaker to make it come back on. Has anyone heard of this problem before?

When you say reset the breaker is it tripping or are you turning it off and back on?

Is it your indoor or outdoor unit dropping out. You outdoor unit will probably have a blinking diagnostic light under the panels.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
