I recently had my condenser fan motor replaced. I've noticed that after it's been running, it's very hot to the touch. Is this normal?

Who ever installed it is it the same rpm-horsepower as the old one?If its smaller the pitch of the fan blades might be too much making the motor work to hard.Does it get very hot to the touch after a couple minutes or after a while of running?

Commonly see 125 degrees with my infrared. 150 would be too high.

i would have who ever installed the motor come back and check it, they get warm but you shouldn't be able to fry an egg on it. could be wrong cap,

Check the correct run capacitor was used and that the tech didn't simply use the fan side of the existing dual capacitor.
