Hello there first time poster.
Bryant Model# 396GAZ036075
I call for heat. 3-Wire-Pilot Sparks and lights. Gas valve opens, but click multiple times like a solenoid (sound). All burners light (maybe blower starts, if enough time)and then what I think is the gas valve starts clicking again and the burner flame flutters on and off then it shuts down and after cycling goes into lock out. It clicks on and off very fast.
I’m cleaning the flame sensor right now and will try that, but is there another sensor that my be shutting off the gas valve, or is it possible that the valve is bad and the clicking is it closing and opening until it fails closed? I don’t see are think there is a flue type
Chuck
Update Hey I sanded off the flame sensor, and wamo it's working.

I here ya, please don't take offence or I don't think you would post on here to help.
My problem is still here. It all worked over night and now the pilot won’t stay on at all. I did put a new used pilot in from the problems we had a year ago. The thing is that new one put in by the tech at the time had a broken white wire on it (I think a bad solder from OEM or he did it putting it in) but ended up putting the old one back in at the time and replacing the control board to fix the problem. He tried returning it and they would not take it so I had it. I resoldered the wire and put it in to try and fix this problem and that is not working (it could just be crap now?). The gas just shuts down. Is there a pressure switch that may be faulty or could my new board be bad? I could go get another new pilot but right now that would be $80 to see if it is the problem.
All I’m trying to find out is if there are more sensors that would shut down a gas valve other than they Flame one, or how likely is it for a gas valve bodies to go bad? Do the solenoid type valves in there go out and just trip close? That is $100. There is no damper sensor that I can see. And it is a start up problem so any HELP???

There is a bi metal strip that heats up and makes the contacts........it can be weak, when it is it takes a long time to close the contacts. if the pilot is not lighting at all, then the spark box could be bad.Or the gas valve could be not letting the pilot gas go to the pilot........its a complicated unit, I have all the parts available (except the gas valve they are getting harder to find its a EF32CW183) so let me know what you need and i can get it to you.
