Got a new Rite Temp digital thermostat with humidistat control. The humidifier was not connected at the furnace control board at the time, so I connected a wire to the H terminal and C terminal. Now my humidifier runs every time my heat cycles. not controlling humidity. I inquired rite temp about this and they can't tell me which terminals I need to use. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Your furnace control board simply powers the humidifier whenever heat runs. You should disconnect H from the control board and use the humidifier terminal on the stat instead.
You can't put a price on comfort! Be Safe.

I guess what I really need to knowis what the letters stand for on the furnace control board in a '93 Bryant furnace with just one transformer for everything (not seperate one for Aprilair) and what the termination should be for the humidistat. The whole thing was in shambles when I bought the house and installed a digital thermostat thinking it would make my life easier. Now my windows are frozen and it feels like southern Florida in here.
